Cyprus 4 Day Challenge

For any keen runners out there the 4 day Cyprus Challenge takes place from 29 November to 2 December. This consists of:

• November 29 - Coral Beach 6k Time Trial
• November 30 – AKAMAS 11k Hill Run
• December 1 – Neo Chorio – AKAMAS ½ Marathon
• December 2 – 10k Paphos City Run

The 2008 event is 27-30 November:

27/11 - 6k time trial, on asphalt, runners set of in 10 second intervals and run against the clock.

28/11 - 11k cross country run. The first 3k is a flat warm-up run along the main coastal road of the AKAMAS Nature Reserve. This leads to the mountain run where competitor’s strengths will be challenged with a 0-600m climb during 8 kilometres

29/11 - the AKAMAS half marathon cross country run

30/11 - a 10k run through Paphos

Hopefully it will have cooled down a bit by this time.
